I've been a speech-language pathologist and voice coach for Broadway Singers and Hollywood Actors for over 20 years. I've provided voice therapy to aspiring Belters, helped classical singers "cross over," trained mixers to find a meatier sound and helped all of my clients (to the best of my ability) find a more free, open, healthy, resonant belt. I pride myself in teaching these concepts in a fun, simple and when possible, a science-supported way in my online program.

"Aliens" are my silly way of practicing what scientists call "formant tuning." - the ability to tune your mouth (i.e. tongue, lips and jaw) to specific harmonics. I'll show you how to use this quirky but amazing technique to make your tone more beautiful, resonant and stable.

Support Your Sound


Vocal support begins at your feet. That's why I'll show you how to engage your legs, core, torso, pharyngeal and soft palate muscles with a simple, repeatable protocol I've created based on the best of Alexander Technique, the Feldenkrais Method, Reiki, Thai Bodywork, Functional Movement, yoga and Pilates. You'll add more strength and stability to your tone without necessarily needing a bigger breath.

Tap Your Soundboard


There are at least 12-13 moveable structures in your vocal tract which determine the brightness, darkness, breathiness and nasality of your voice. I'll show you how to tap into all of the sounds you can make as you move those structures and gain awareness, consistency and versatility.

In the end, people don't want to hear or see your technique. They want to experience a captivating story. Ill show you techniques for energetic presence designed to draw the audience in and leave them hanging on every word. No "parking and barking" here!
