We’re excited you’re interested in joining the TBVS Mentorship Program. This is a rigorous, practical, and flexible pathway for singers and teachers who want to master the art and science of voice coaching. Before applying, please take a few minutes to complete the form and submit your short video. We review each application carefully and aim to build a diverse, curious, and committed learning community.

Admissions Requirements


We welcome applicants from a wide range of vocal and teaching backgrounds. This program is designed for professionals who are serious about growing their skills and ready to engage in hands-on learning.

To apply, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Background in Voice: You should have experience as a singer, voice teacher, coach, speech-language pathologist, or performing artist.

  • Commitment to Learning: This program is rigorous and requires weekly participation, practice, and reflection.

  • English Proficiency: Course content and live sessions are delivered in English.

  • Reliable Internet Access: You’ll need access to video conferencing and a device for recording and submitting video assignments.

  • Video Introduction: As part of your application, submit a short video introducing yourself and sharing why you want to join the
    program.

  • Tuition:

    • Deposit: $500 due upon admission (Apply before July 1st and your deposit is only $250). 

    • Payment Plan: Four payments of $2,875, beginning when classes start in the fall.

Application Process 

Step 1
Prepare

 

Before you apply, take some time to gather your materials. We recommend reviewing the program details, ensuring you meet the admissions requirements, and outlining your goals for joining. You’ll also need to record a short video introducing yourself and explaining your interest in the mentorship. This is your chance to let us know who you are and why this path feels right for you.

Step 2
Apply

 

Complete the online application form below. It includes questions about your background, experience, and learning goals. Upload your video introduction directly through the form or share a link. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until the final deadline of August 15, 2025.

 

 

 

Step 3
Review

 

Once we receive your application, our team will carefully review your materials. We consider your experience, enthusiasm, and readiness for the program. After your application has been reviewed, you’ll receive a follow-up email with our admission decision.

 

Step 4
Decide

 

If accepted, you’ll receive an official welcome email with instructions for securing your spot. A $500 deposit is required upon admission to confirm your enrollment. (Or just $250 if you applied before July 1st!) Once your deposit is in, you’re officially in—and we can’t wait to work with you.
