What is Estill Voice Training?
Estill Voice Training is a science-based method that deconstructs vocal technique into 13 Figures and 6 Voice Qualities. This systematic approach allows singers, speakers, and clinicians to understand and control vocal mechanics with precision. The method is grounded in vocal anatomy and physiology.
Do I need prior experience?
This intensive is designed for professional vocalists, high-stakes speakers, and voice clinicians. While prior vocal training is beneficial, the course is structured to accommodate serious practitioners at various levels. Contact us if you have questions about your background.
What happens after the course?
Upon completion and full attendance, you receive 24 hours of continuing education credit. Your Estill Voice International registration becomes active, and you can apply these principles immediately in your practice. Advanced certifications are available through additional study.
Is the EVI fee included in tuition?
No. The $185 Estill Voice International registration fee is separate from the $750 course tuition. This fee covers your official EVI credentials and access to the Estill Voice community. Both are required for certification.
Can I attend part-time or asynchronously?
Full attendance across all three days is mandatory for certification. The intensive is delivered live online, and all sessions are synchronous. This ensures you receive direct instruction from Tom Burke and Aimée Leonard.
What if I'm not ready yet?
That's honest. This course requires an active practice and a willingness to work on your own voice. If you're not there yet, reach out anyway. Tom can point you toward resources that might help you get ready.
